Best show ever, hands down
Since 2003, I have been a die-hard fan, and this was my 4th time seeing Cheap Trick. I hesitated after hearing the kind of VIP package they were offering because I had never spent that much on a concert before! They weren't playing in Seattle, but I could make a trip to San Francisco work. I had never met them, and this experience seemed too good to pass up.
I was not disappointed or wrong! Viewing the soundcheck felt special and intimate. I managed to get a hug when it came time for the meet and greet, and I was at a loss for words, but they were all very kind to everyone. That would've been good enough for me, but the concert itself - WOW.
The band was just on point in every way, and the symphony added a whole other dimension to the epicness of it all. I was enthralled the whole time and unexpectedly cried during Lost In Paradise, where Jen caught me and smiled. Amy's voice was out of this world. It was purely spectacular, and I would do it a million times over. If you have the chance to see them, DO IT!!
